A Pocket Field Guide to Soybean Gall Midge was developed with contributions from Ohio State University, Iowa State University, University of Minnesota and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Funding and support for this project was from the NCSRP.
This guide was developed for farmers to give an overview of the soybean gall midge, a relatively new pest of soybean, found in 7 midwest states including Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Kansas and Missouri. The guide includes biology, identification, look-a-like information, scouting and management advice. Copies of the guides are being shipped to all NCSRP state universities, and a PDF of the guide can be found here!
